How do I become a patient of the Madawaska Valley Family Health Team?

If you do not have a doctor or nurse practitioner as your primary care provider, please call our reception at 613-756-9888 ext 5 to place your name on the combined wait list.

How do I renew my prescription? I do not have any refills.

If you are running low on your medications and do not have an appointment, please contact your pharmacy and they will fax your request to the clinic. Please note: do not let your medication run out. Please allow 3-5 business days for your prescription renewal.

Yes. A Nurse Practitioner can refer a patient to any specialist the same way a physician can.

What is RC VTAC?

RC VTAC stands for Renfrew County Virtual Triage and Assessment Centre. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, RC VTAC has been developed and is strenthening access to healthcare for all residents so our Emergency Departments and 9-1-1 Service can be reserved for genuine emergencies.

If your MD or NP office has sent you your invitation but you have not received it, click HERE to visit the MEDEO website for assistance.

Which providers in the MVFHT are offering MEDEO online services?

Currently, Drs. Malinowski and Meeking and Nurse Practitioners Chelsea Greenough and Elizabeth Polatynksi are offering MEDEO online booking and secure patient messaging at this time. More providers may come on board in the near future.
